Nigerian singer, Ruger has been captured on camera sharing a mind-blowing testimony of his encounter with God.
This testimony of Ruger was shared during the 31st December watch night at Cherubim and Seraphim church’s crossover service in Lagos State. The service, which marks the end of the year and the beginning of the new one, provided a space for worshippers to reflect on their faith and experiences over the past year.
While sharing his testimony, Ruger disclosed that during the service, he had an emotional encounter with God which got him crying; something he described as hadn’t happened to him in four years. He spoke about the overwhelming spiritual moment that took him by surprise, admitting that it was a deeply personal and moving experience that he had not expected. This emotional breakthrough was especially significant for Ruger, as he revealed that he hadn’t cried in four years prior to this encounter.
Ruger expressed his gratitude to God for his life and for the opportunity to reconnect with his faith. The emotional moment was also tied to his reflection on his personal journey and the challenges he had faced in the past few years, particularly with his busy music career and travel commitments.
“Today, my manager called me that I had a show tonight. I asked him to cancel it. I don’t care. 2021 I was in church for the crossover but in 2022 and 2023 I couldn’t because I was out of the country… I haven’t cried in four years, but I saw God today and I cried. I thank God for my life, everybody and everyone that nurtured me in this church,” Ruger said, clearly overwhelmed with emotion as he spoke about the impact of his faith and the people who had supported him in his spiritual journey.
