Gistreel recalls that Rudeboy previously confirmed rumors of his split from twin brother, Peter Okoye, and further alleged that Paul was behind his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), adding a layer of tension to their already strained relationship. The pair's once-celebrated musical partnership has been marred by public disagreements, and this latest issue has intensified the rift.

In a recent Instagram post, Peter Okoye proudly announced the release of his new single, titled ‘Attention’, which is now available for streaming on all music platforms. His post read: “Brand New!!! “ATTENTION” Audio out on ALL Music platforms. Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel after listening! One love🤞🏾”. Peter’s excitement over the release, however, was met with a sharp response from Rudeboy.

Despite Peter’s announcement, Rudeboy has reacted to the release of ‘Attention’, claiming that he is the original author and singer of the song, alleging that Peter’s track is based on his work. Rudeboy expressed frustration over what he believes to be an infringement on his creative rights. In his response, he wrote, “Song title : WINNING Written and sang by RUDEBOY Produced by same producer”. He continued, questioning how the situation had unfolded: “NOW HOW COME ? NOW AM I SUPPOSE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION? Mr Producer your case na for another day”.

Further expressing his frustration, Rudeboy added: “Just a simple thing: Bring 6 song let me bring 6 song … submitted my 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ word for word 🤷🏾‍♂️ Song that was supposed to be in my album next year June 🤷🏾‍♂️”. This accusation has added fuel to the fire, with Rudeboy questioning his brother’s intentions and the integrity of their professional dealings.

Reactions Trailing Rudeboy’s post…

Destiny Chris wrote, “Psquare as the main owner of this song before two of them go confuse us. When we listen verse one for Rude Boy page we go Mr P page go listen to verse two, case close. They can not confuse us Last last everybody go Dey alright. 👍”. This comment humorously pointed out the similarities between the two brothers’ versions of the song and expressed the belief that fans would eventually figure it out.

John Ludy noted, “So you get this kind song, you come dey release vitamin d for us😂😂😂. Abeg make you just rest”. His comment sarcastically criticized Peter Okoye’s song, suggesting that the situation was becoming ridiculous and urging both brothers to move on from the conflict.

King Samuel remarked, “Also, this story tells more about Mr. P hating his brothers and sisters. Those alone show tell you who owns the song. Mr P is becoming Kcee, the copy copy master”. This comment insinuated that Peter was copying Rudeboy’s style and called out his behavior as indicative of a deeper issue.

Eze Ocha wrote,  “Because your brother announced say him wan drop song you don run go post this lol allow us to finish listening to the vitamin c, una two record the same song fine but 😀 after playing the two songs make una tell Rudeboy the truth na, abi una wan Davido him?”. This comment humorously implied that the brothers were engaged in a bit of rivalry and suggested that fans would figure out the truth after hearing both versions of the song.
