Renowned actress, Ibironke Ojo-Anthony, also known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, has shared her concern as her daughter resumes school following a poisoning incident. In a recent interview with Saturday Beats, she revealed that she remains deeply troubled and worried despite her daughter returning to class.
Ronke Oshodi-Oke had previously called out the school where she pays N1.3M yearly over their negligence that almost got her daughter killed. She stated that she cannot be at peace letting her daughter go back to the same school and has called her multiple times to check up on her. She plans to have a meeting with the school on Monday to ensure that they respond appropriately to the issue. If not, she will mention the name of the school.
When asked if her daughter's poisoning had to do with her fame, she replied that such cases are not limited to public figures and that there have been similar cases where children even lost their lives under similar circumstances. She expressed concern about the mindset of young people and what they may do when they become adults.
Ronke Oshodi-Oke also gave her daughter tips to avoid getting poisoned again, which includes being careful whenever she wants to eat and not leaving her food or drink unattended for any reason, even when going to the toilet.
