Iconic singer, Robyn Rihanna [/b]Fenty has finally disclosed the name of her son, RZA Athelston Mayers, ahead of his first birthday on May 13th. As per the official certificate of live birth, the multiple award-winning singer and her partner A$AP Rocky named their first child RZA Athelston Mayers.
It has been speculated that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky may have drawn inspiration for their son's name from the music producer and Wu-Tang Clan leader, RZA. The middle name of the almost-one-year-old, Athelston, is also inspired by A$AP Rocky's own middle name, Rakim Athelaston Mayers.
Since giving birth, Rihanna has been spotted wearing Wu-Tang Clan t-shirts and RZA merchandise, hinting that the inspiration for her son's name may have been brewing for some time. The songwriter is also expecting a second child with A$AP Rocky, which she revealed during her high-flying Super Bowl halftime show in February.
RZA Athelston Mayers is the first child for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who have been dating since 2020. Despite their fame, the couple has kept much of their relationship private, but they have been spotted together at various events and on social media.
