Reno Omokri, a controversial writer and activist, pointed out that despite the crises in Ukraine and Sudan, Nigeria is not the worst country in the world. He made this statement amidst the efforts to evacuate stranded Nigerians in Sudan and sparked reactions on social media. According to Omokri, when crises occurred in Ukraine, Sudan, and South Africa, the default option for Nigerians was to return home for safety. He argued that despite the perceived greener pastures outside Nigeria, it comes with just as many unforeseen issues. Omokri emphasized that not all that glitters is gold and not every house is as good as your home. He ended by saying, "May God bless Nigeria and Nigerians!"
