This warning was shared through a statement released via his verified handle on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday. Reno Omokri used the opportunity to highlight the dangers associated with oversharing personal information online, a habit he described as risky and unnecessary.

Omokri elaborated that consistently uploading personal updates, achievements, or challenges on social media not only exposes one’s life to public scrutiny but also provides avenues for adversaries to monitor and potentially exploit such information. According to him, this habit of oversharing can lead to unintended consequences, which some individuals mistakenly attribute to ‘village people.’

The self-acclaimed ‘table shaker’ asserted that what many perceive as bad luck caused by external forces or spiritual influences is, in reality, a direct consequence of failing to protect personal information from public access. He advised individuals to adopt a more cautious approach by refraining from sharing private details on social media.

Furthermore, Omokri referred to individuals who expose their private lives on social media as ‘snitches.’ He argued that such actions inadvertently make life easier for enemies or detractors who use this information to their advantage.
