Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, a talented singer, songwriter, and performer, has achieved a remarkable feat in his career. His song 'Calm Down,' featuring Selena Gomez, has made history by becoming the first song ever to spend an entire year atop the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart.
The announcement of this achievement was made by the American data collection company 'Chart Data' on August 28, 2023.

'Calm Down' made its debut at the top spot when the MENA Chart was inaugurated by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) on November 29, 2022.
This achievement also earned 'Calm Down' a place in the Guinness World Records as the First No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart, the world’s first regional streaming chart.
Back in 2019, Rema signed with Jonzing World record label, owned by D’Prince, who is affiliated with Mavin Records.
