Nigerian singer, Portable, has issued a fiery challenge to VeryDarkMan, vowing to wrestle him in the ring over allegations surrounding NGO stolen funds.
This comes after VeryDarkMan claimed hackers stole ₦180 million from his NGO’s website, leaving only ₦20 million intact. He alleged that the theft occurred through a hacking incident, but Portable, known for his outspoken and dramatic personality, wasn’t buying the story.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Portable displayed a wrestling belt and called out VeryDarkMan, labeling him a thief. He did not hold back, urging the public to set up a fight between them to settle the matter, and made his disdain clear by stating that if the money wasn’t returned, VeryDarkMan should avoid Lagos or Abuja. Portable even took it further by stating that anyone associated with a thief is also a thief.
In his heated video, Portable said:
“If you don’t return the stolen NGO money, don’t step foot in Lagos or Abuja. We’ll fight you. A thief is a thief, and a friend of a thief is also a thief. Rich men contributed about ₦180 million for orphans, and you spent it!”
He accused VeryDarkMan of misusing the funds and claimed that he was only seeking personal gain under the guise of helping Nigerians. Portable added:
“You claim to be seeking justice for Nigerians, but it’s for your personal gain. I’ve never received ₦100 million to keep, yet I still distribute rice, noodles, and fix roads and streetlights in my area. But you, you spent the NGO money in clubs. Bad person!”
