Popular and controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized by his stage name Portable, has made a public declaration to turn over a new leaf and distance himself from any form of trouble. This decision comes in the aftermath of his latest legal confrontation with the Ogun State government, which saw him entangled in legal proceedings.

The singer’s vow to stay out of trouble follows shortly after he was granted bail set at ₦2 million in connection to allegations of physically assaulting government officials at his bar. The legal tussle escalated when Portable was declared wanted by the authorities, prompting his eventual surrender and subsequent legal battle.

Following his release, the singer took to social media to share a music video in which he declared his commitment to focusing on making money and avoiding trouble.

Expressing gratitude for overcoming his legal troubles, he wrote:“Alhamdulilahi for everything 🙏 ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God ✍🏻.”

Portable, known for his controversial outbursts and frequent clashes with law enforcement, appears to be embracing a more cautious approach moving forward. However, fans remain divided on whether the singer can truly stay away from drama, given his history of controversies.

For now, it seems Portable is determined to focus on his career and financial growth while staying out of trouble.
