Phyno’s bodyguard, Chidi, has issued a public apology to Nigerian billionaire businessman, Zenco, after a video surfaced showing him nearly pushing the businessman off the stage during a performance by Phyno.
Phyno, one of the entertainers invited to perform at the funeral ceremony of Zenco’s late mother, had an on-stage moment that led to controversy. The incident, which happened over the weekend, quickly gained attention when the video of Chidi attempting to shove Zenco away went viral.
After the video of Phyno’s bodyguard trying to shove away Zenco went viral, a lot of social media users expressed shock.
However, Chidi has tendered an unqualified apology to the businessman, while explaining that he intended to safeguard Phyno and not disrespect Zenco.
He acknowledged that he had made a grave mistake and took full responsibility for his actions. He expressed his deep respect for Zenco and reiterated that his sole intention was to protect his boss.
