Veteran singer Paul Okoye’s wife, Ivy Ifeoma, has issued a cautionary note to trolls who use negative comments to seek attention from celebrities. She shared her message via Instagram, addressing her recent observations of such behavior.
Ivy Ifeoma pointed out that many trolls frequently post hateful comments, only to later dismiss their actions as mere ‘cruise’ or claim they were simply seeking the celeb’s attention. She emphasized that not everyone has the same generous heart as Chike, who famously gifted N1 million to a troll. Ivy advised against seeking attention through negative comments, as it often leads to embarrassment and makes one appear foolish.
Her message read: “I’ve come across a lot of trolls and nothing fazes me tbh, so this isn’t really about me. But for some of these people, the moment they get a tad bit of attention, they change the narrative to be, ‘just cruise,’ or claim, ‘I just wanted your attention. I love you. Please help me/help my family.’ I wish you could understand how embarrassing it is to drop hate comments for fun, recognition, or money lol. Not everyone has Chike’s heart. They’re playing now because of 1 million naira. Save yourself the embarrassment. Most of the time, you really do look stupid on here.”
