Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), has publicly addressed allegations of fraud leveled against him by the Nigerian Police, which had earlier led to his arrest.
The allegations, which involve a purported connection to a ₦1.5 billion fraud case, resulted in significant public attention. Pastor Idowu was reportedly taken into custody but was later released on Tuesday evening following the intervention of key individuals and stakeholders.
Speaking on the matter, Pastor Idowu chose to address the allegations during his daily prayer meeting, widely known as Next Level Prayers (NLP), a platform that has drawn followers globally. In his address, he categorically denied any involvement in fraudulent activities and took time to clarify the misconceptions surrounding his arrest.
The pastor emphasized that the only property he owns in Nigeria is one inherited from his late parents, explicitly denying any involvement in real estate transactions that could link him to the allegations.
“Grace grace grace, that is my story. We are victorious on all sides,” Pastor Idowu confidently declared, reaffirming his faith and his commitment to transparency and integrity in his ministry.
