Olori Ashley Folashade, one of the revered wives of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, recently made a heartfelt revelation, proudly announcing that her son is the crown prince of the palace.
In a deeply personal and touching video shared on her Instagram page, Olori Ashley documented her pregnancy journey, leading up to the joyful birth of her baby boy. The video gave a glimpse into the emotional and sacred moments that she and her husband, the Ooni of Ife, cherished together throughout the experience.
Olori Ashley also shared important details about her son’s royal heritage, explaining that he is not only a prince by birth from his mother’s lineage but also through his father’s royal lineage. She stated that her son is a prince of the ruling Lafogido family from her side and a prince of the Ooni Agbedegbede’s royal compound from his father’s side, connected to the Giesi royal house.
She emphasized that the union of these two royal houses is integral to the historical foundation of the prestigious Oduduwa throne in Ile-Ife. This connection further cements the significance of her son's birth as an heir to the throne.
In her message of gratitude, Olori Ashley wrote:

Thank you Olodumare for an amazing pregnancy journey, which was very sacred for my husband and I, and successfully kept away from the public eye to the glory of Olodumare. To my ever-loving and supportive husband, who has stood by me throughout this journey, from start to finish, with daily prayers @ooniadimulaife, you are my world, my CROWN JEWEL, Erujeje Adimula Oko Mi, Ikoyi Esho Mi.”
She went on to thank her personal assistant for the unwavering support she received during the later stages of her pregnancy, saying: “To my amazing PA @obanewo_ thank you for holding every handle down for me during the last months of grooming our prestigious CROWN PRINCE from both sides of his parents @ooniadimulaife.
