Singer, Jaywon has extensively lashed out at fellow artist, Odumodublvck for throwing a major shade at him, using a throwback photo of himself and Ayra Starr, alongside a more recent photo she took with American rapper, Future.
The Jaywon-Ayra photo had earlier gone viral a few months ago, showcasing a somewhat awkward moment where Ayra Starr appeared to hold away Jaywon’s hand while they posed for a picture. This moment became a source of mockery for the singer, especially as Ayra Starr has since been photographed with bigger celebrities, in more relaxed, familiar poses.
Recently, Odumodublvck took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to upload a side-by-side comparison, featuring a recent image of Ayra Starr with Future, where the rapper could be seen holding Ayra Starr by the waist. He placed this photo next to the older image of Jaywon, where his attempt to do the same was tactfully avoided by Ayra Starr.
Odumodublvck’s post was accompanied by a resigned statement, where he lamented about the nature of life’s unfairness, writing, “THIS LIFE EHN,” as the caption for the juxtaposed images.
In swift retaliation, Jaywon responded harshly, accusing Odumodublvck of disrespecting his elders in the industry. He expressed his frustration at how a newcomer like Odumodublvck could have the audacity to ridicule someone who has been in the music scene much longer than him.
Jaywon’s remarks read: “Lol, you’re already dragging your senior, who’s going to drag you? You haven’t even started life, and you’re already stepping on toes.”
The back-and-forth has since sparked a series of reactions from social media users …
