Popular clergyman, Pastor Odumeje, has revealed the reason why he isn't one of the wealthiest men in Nigeria, despite his potential to be so.
The controversial preacher made this revelation during a church service with his congregation, sharing his thoughts on wealth and divine calling.
Pastor Odumeje, who is based in Anambra, shared that while he has the ability to accumulate wealth rapidly, he has consciously chosen to focus on his religious mission. He stated that if he decided to step out and pursue financial success, he would undoubtedly surpass many well-known wealthy figures in Nigeria.
He explained that what holds him back from accumulating riches is his commitment to serving the Lord’s purpose. “If I come out in the street and choose to make money, nobody can see my back. But I give myself and submit for the work of the Lord,” he remarked, emphasizing his dedication to his spiritual calling over material wealth.
