Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, has praised the remarkable journey of Chidimma Adetshina, Miss Universe Nigeria, in the prestigious Miss Universe contest, describing her experience as a testament to resilience, perseverance, and unwavering dedication. Obi commended her outstanding representation of Nigeria and Africa on the global stage.
In a statement released on Monday, Obi expressed his admiration for the beauty queen’s efforts, noting that he had closely followed her inspiring journey. He emphasized how Chidimma’s achievements offer a beacon of hope for Nigerian youths navigating various challenges in their quest for greatness.
Obi highlighted that although Chidimma did not clinch the 2024 Miss Universe crown, her performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Competing against over 120 contestants from across the globe, she emerged as the first runner-up and secured the top position in Africa—a feat he described as a monumental stride worthy of celebration.
