Nigerian businessman and CEO of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, recently met with cryptocurrency investor Linus Williams Ifejika, also known as BLord, to discuss potential business opportunities. The meeting occurred after BLord declined a $10 million investment offer from foreign investors for his latest innovation, the BillPoint app.
During the meeting, the two entrepreneurs reportedly discussed tech-related matters pertaining to the banking sector in Nigeria. BLord, who is known for his expertise in cryptocurrency investments, shared a photo of himself and Obi Cubana after the meeting, declaring that they were going to take over the Nigerian banking system.
Prior to the meeting, BLord had announced that he declined the $10 million investment offer because he believed that the BillPoint app would generate much more profit than the amount offered in just a few years.
Obi Cubana is a well-known entrepreneur in the Nigerian hospitality industry, owning popular nightclubs and lounges across the country, including the famous Cubana Nightclub in Owerri, Imo State. He has also diversified his business interests to include real estate and other investments.
The meeting between the two businessmen has created a buzz in the Nigerian business community, with many anticipating what their collaboration could mean for the tech and banking industries in the country.
