Nigerian model and beauty pageant titleholder, Ugochukwu Nwokolo, has sparked a major controversy after publicly accusing popular skit maker and media personality, Nedu Wazobia, of coercion and manipulation during his appearance on the widely followed podcast, ‘The Honest Bunch.’
It is important to recall that Ugochukwu Nwokolo had previously been a guest on Nedu Wazobia’s podcast, where he made a rather controversial statement, revealing that he is attracted to poor girls. However, in a surprising turn of events, he has now come forward to claim that his initial remarks were not voluntary but rather a result of pressure and manipulation by the host.
Speaking in a recent interview, Ugochukwu Nwokolo disclosed that Nedu had personally informed him about his ownership of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast and allegedly instructed him to make specific statements that would generate social media buzz and engagement.
According to Nwokolo, his entire appearance on the podcast was scripted, with Nedu Wazobia allegedly directing him to mention the name of controversial online critic, Verydarkman, to stir public discourse and ensure virality across platforms. He further expressed deep regret over the situation, stating that the experience has severely affected his mental health.
“Nedu forced and manipulated me. He is obsessed with getting views at the detriment of the guests,” Ugochukwu Nwokolo said, emphasizing how he felt used and misrepresented during the show.
