It has been reported by the 'Nigeria Center For Disease Control' (NCDC), that a 30 year old Nigerian female, has tested positive to deadly Corona virus (Covid-19).
According to reports, she returned from the UK on 13th of March and has since observed self-Isolation after she noticed some symptoms of the virus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has however, issued a public health advisory to inform Nigerians about symptoms and preventive measures to take in other to be on the safer side and has also provided a toll-free number for guidance.
May Ubeku, a public health practitioner and epidemiologist, said that the Nigerian health authorities were “fully prepared” to contain the spread of the corona virus, citing the series of measures introduced since January.
The affected victim of the virus, has been transferred to Mainland GH, where she is receiving treatments.
