Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has reacted following the court’s decision to clear him and his associate, Sam Larry, of any involvement in the death of the late singer, Mohbad.
It was reported that in the late hours of yesterday, a Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos, officially cleared Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy of any allegations linking them to the tragic passing of Mohbad.
According to the court’s ruling on February 25, 2025, the allegations against the three individuals were dismissed, bringing an end to months of speculation and legal proceedings.
In a further development, the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) revealed that charges would be filed against the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, identified as Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as well as Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq.
Following the court’s ruling, Naira Marley took to his Twitter page to share a Quranic verse, expressing his faith and gratitude. He posted:
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3).”
