Popular and controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has sparked outrage on social media after leaking private conversations between himself and renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, also known as Queen Mother.
The singer took to his Instagram story to share old chats dating back to 2021 and 2022, which revealed exchanges between them. The leaked messages showed that Iyabo Ojo had invited Naira Marley to some of her events, including her late mother’s remembrance party.
Another part of the chat also revealed that Iyabo Ojo had once sought Naira Marley’s assistance in helping her adopted son, who was an aspiring musician, gain exposure in the industry.
This controversial revelation by Naira Marley comes in response to an interview that Iyabo Ojo granted in January 2025 on the Talk to B Podcast, where she claimed that she had never met the singer and had no personal relationship with him.
A few days after the interview aired, Naira Marley reacted by posting screenshots of their past conversations, contradicting Iyabo Ojo’s claims and igniting debates online.
