Mr. Macaroni condemns Lagos State Commissioner for assaulting a man

Nigerian actor and comedian, Adebowale Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has strongly condemned the actions of the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson, following an incident in which she was filmed assaulting a man. The incident, which occurred after the man attempted to record her, quickly went viral after being shared by Sahara Reporters. In the video, the Commissioner can be seen physically confronting the individual for attempting to film her. The video has stirred up significant online backlash, with many criticizing her for her conduct.

Mr Macaroni, in a series of tweets, has berated the commissioner for her attitude, stating that Nigeria is not in a dictatorship.

He wrote, “Dear Mrs Toke Benson, who do you think you are that you can’t be recorded?? Ok. Commissioner? And so what??

“You even have the temerity to ask “who is paying your salary” Is it your money?A public servant moving like a Dictator.Saying you will break a citizen’s phone and actually moving to do so?? Outrageous!!!

And I heard another lady asking “do you know who you are talking to”Who are you? Who is she? Who are all of you gangan??? My goodness!!!

It seems once you hold a political office in Nigeria you become Lord and Master and all Citizens must become your slaves??
