Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe, like many fellow Nigerians, has voiced her concerns about the exchange rate of the Nigerian Naira against the US Dollar and other global currencies.
Before Mercy Aigbe expressed her frustration, another prominent Nigerian figure, Mabel Makun, had already shared a post lamenting the economic challenges tied to this exchange rate.
Shortly after, Mercy Aigbe took to her Instagram page to express her frustration, highlighting the adverse effects of the exchange rate on businesses.
On her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress wrote: "The exchange rate is crippling businesses! At this point, I'm exasperated!"
"I've been attempting to order goods from various fashion stores, such as @magdivas, since last week, hoping the dollar's value would drop. Unfortunately, it keeps rising. Today, I had to place an order with a heavy heart and a sense of sadness. This country is in disarray; it's unbearable."
