Notable singer, Mr. May D has expressed the belief that he would have surpassed Wizkid in terms of musical success if he hadn’t fallen out with his former record label, Square Records.
This opinion was shared by Mr. May D during a clash with online trolls on the micro-blogging platform, X. The singer, known for his past association with the record label founded by the popular music duo PSquare, revealed his thoughts amidst an online feud.
Mr. May D disclosed that he had been attacked by Wizkid's fans on X after he posted a message praising Davido. The tweet read: “Always proud of you@davido, very kind guy!! We don’t deserve you.” This statement prompted a response from Wizkid's fans, who began to criticize him.
In another post, Mr. May D responded to the attacks, writing: “Because I spoke about David, Wizkid boys are attacking me Lmao even Wiz knows I love him, but if y’all come for me I’ll finish all of you and your oga.”
The singer also made a bold claim, stating that he would have been more successful than Wizkid if not for the issues he faced with PSquare. Mr. May D tweeted: “If no he wetin happen between me and Psquare, who be Wiz? Chai.”
