Nigerian rapper and reality TV star Laycon has recently taken to social media to publicly call out the renowned disc jockey, DJ Neptune, over an alleged debt that arose following their collaboration on a music project.
Many may remember that the Big Brother Naija “Lock Down” winner teamed up with DJ Neptune on the widely celebrated “Nobody” remix, which also featured Joeboy and Mr Eazi, shortly after his victory on the reality show.
In a recent update on the microblogging platform X, Laycon reached out to the famous DJ, seeking clarity on the status of their agreement and the payment of his share, which has been pending for four years since the collaboration took place.
Expressing his frustration, he wrote: “Abeg o… @deejayneptune how far my agreement and split for the “Nobody (Icons Remix)” song though. Is it not still ready? haba it’s been 4 years o 🤦🏾♂️ Cc @emPawaAfrica”
