Brother of late actress Aderounmu Adejumoke criticizes actress Funke Akindele for offering condolences without reaching out personally.
Gistreel recalls that Aderounmu Adejumoke passed away on the 6th of April 2024 at the age of 37. Prior to her passing, the budding actress was known for her role in Jenifa’s Diary – a comedy series with Funke Akindele as the lead star.
Funke Akindele, upon learning of Aderounmu Adejumoke’s death, expressed her shock.
Noting how saddened she is by the announcement, she had inquired about her.
However, the late actress’ brother, reacting to this, claimed that Funke Akindele was called numerous times but never reached out.
“Sad!!!! @jideawobona I still asked about her. o Omg. May her soul rest in peace,” Funke Akindele had written.
Actress Aderounmu Adejumoke’s brother, via his Instagram, xtra_pro_official, said:
