Lady recounts a surprising and unsettling experience she had with a Catholic priest, who allegedly tried to woo her after she approached him for confession.
The lady, identified as Uju Ifeonu, took to her Facebook page to narrate the incident, which she claimed happened years ago while she was still living in Nigeria.
According to her, she had visited a church in Surulere for confession, seeking spiritual guidance and absolution. However, to her shock, the very priest she had just confessed to allegedly took the opportunity to make advances toward her.
Expressing her disbelief, she recalled the moment when the priest, instead of offering religious counsel, attempted to woo her while still seated at the confessional table.
She wrote …
“This world is crazy. Some years back when I was still residing in Nigeria, I went for confession in a Catholic church in Surulere, and the same priest hearing my confession was asking me out on the same confessional table.”
