Fortune Okoye, a prominent Nigerian social media commentator, has publicly addressed netizens who have been pressuring Pashotah, the wife of renowned content creator Egungun of Lagos, to leave her husband amidst the ongoing cheating scandal.
The controversy began when a blackmailer attempted to extort Pashotah by threatening to release private videos of Egungun. This threat was carried out when one of the videos leaked online, showing Egungun in a compromising position.
In the video, Egungun was seen on a video call with an unidentified woman, exposing himself and sparking widespread criticism.
In response to the uproar, Fortune Okoye defended Pashotah’s decision to remain silent and urged the public to stop pressuring her to divorce.
“Wetin concern all of you? Is it your husband’s gbola that is outside? So, what is your business?” Okoye questioned in a viral video.
