Two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua unveils surprising career options he would consider if not for boxing. In an interview with children’s current affairs magazine, The Week Junior, Joshua shares his unexpected career alternatives. He discloses that he would have pursued a career as a bricklayer, driven by his passion for building and the aspiration of owning large houses.
“Good question. What job would I have? “I think there’s two jobs I like. One would be a bricklayer because I like building and I would always like to make my house bigger. “I think everyone wants a bigger house. So I would want to make the house as big as I want,” he said. Additionally, Joshua mentions he would like to be an accountant, explaining to the young interviewer, “It’s someone who counts everyone’s money. “So I’m in control of the piggy bank. I’d probably like to be an accountant,” he added. Joshua has a successful boxing career spanning over 17 years, competing with the sport’s bests, and even claiming revered titles. He started his career picking up Olympic gold in the amateurs, and went on to becoming a two-time unified heavyweight world champion in the paid ranks.
