Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo, claims she is facing tax bills as an attack due to her support for Peter Obi. Recently, she publicly criticized Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos state government for sending her an exorbitant tax bill. She expressed frustration over the numerous taxes she has been paying for her business and home, highlighting the outrageous bill she received along with a 7-day ultimatum for payment. In a passionate Instagram post, she questioned the government's lack of support and recounted how she has independently raised her children and supported others without assistance. Iyabo Ojo defiantly stated that she will not be intimidated or bullied and emphasized her commitment to her beliefs. In an Instagram live video, she revealed that a close source informed her that she is being targeted because of her endorsement of Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party. She reiterated her unwavering stance, declaring her love for Nigeria and expressing her readiness to express her opinions freely. Iyabo Ojo emphasized that she does not fear death and asserted that no one can break her spirit. She concluded by stating that she has empathy for her country and stands against corruption.
