Dara, the estranged wife of popular skit maker and actor Ijoba Lande, has finally broken her silence regarding the widespread allegations of infidelity while she was married to him.
This comes after Ijoba Lande made a shocking revelation in a recent interview, claiming that his estranged wife cheated on him with multiple men, including actors in the Nigerian movie industry.
According to him, he has both video and photo evidence to support his claims of his wife’s alleged unfaithfulness, which he is willing to present if necessary.
Ijoba Lande further disclosed that his wife, Dara, decided to leave their home immediately after he was demonetized on both Facebook and YouTube. He lamented how he used to earn approximately N6 million collectively from both platforms each month, but after the demonetization, she allegedly walked out on him.
Now responding to these claims, Dara has refuted the allegations, particularly addressing the controversial Truth or Dare game incident, which was said to have led to sexual activity between her and actor Baba Tee.
In her own words, she explained:
“The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold invited me to his house. She said she wanted to invite him to the launch of her movie. When we got there, Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife. We greeted each other, and Marygold mentioned she wanted to drink alcohol.
Since there was no alcohol in the house, Marygold and Baba Tee’s driver left to buy some, while I remained seated in the living room. I didn’t interact much with Baba Tee until they returned. Once they arrived, Marygold suggested we play a ‘TRUTH OR DARE’ game. I initially refused, but she encouraged me to join. That was when I finally told Baba Tee that I was Ijoba Lande’s wife, and then we started the game.
During the game, Marygold took things to an extreme by stripping herself naked and giving Baba Tee a BJ. By that time, I had already taken 10 shots of alcohol, while Marygold and Baba Tee were both smoking ‘igbo’ (weed). At one point, Marygold dared Baba Tee to give me a ‘doggy style,’ and Baba Tee even went to get a condom.
However, when he returned, I told him I would not allow that position, but I could sit on him instead. We then instructed Marygold to turn away and face the wall so she wouldn’t watch us. In the end, I only sat on Baba Tee’s laps, and we did not do anything beyond that.
Lande knows very well that I do not sleep around. If he claims otherwise, I challenge him to bring out any solid evidence proving that I ever cheated on him. I will not reveal the actual reason behind our breakup just yet due to some personal reasons, but I can assure you it was not because of infidelity.”
