Solomon Idowu, a Nigerian man residing in Chicago, issues a public apology to the renowned singer, Seun Kuti, after previously making online threats against the musician's life.
This apology follows an incident at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, where Seun Kuti confronted Solomon Idowu over the threats targeting both him and his family.
Initially standing firm on his statements, Solomon Idowu eventually yielded to pressure, offering a public apology in a recorded video. He took full responsibility for his actions and stated that he should be held accountable if any harm befalls Femi Anikulapo’s son in Chicago.
“If anything happens to Seun, my name is Solomon Idowu; I am a citizen of the United States, and I live in Chicago. If anything happens to Seun in Chicago I’ll be responsible. This is because of some miscommunications between us,” he conveyed in the video.
Despite extending a hand of friendship, Seun Kuti promptly rejected the gesture.
