Popular celebrity stylist and fashion entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani, has opened up about the severe health challenges she has been facing as a result of receiving epidural injections during childbirth.
The renowned stylist, who is widely known for her creativity and unique fashion statements, shared her painful experience with fans and followers, shedding light on the long-term consequences of the procedure.
In a heartfelt and emotional video, Toyin Lawani revealed that she has been battling excruciating spinal pain, partial paralysis, and even breathing difficulties since undergoing epidural anesthesia for the birth of her last two children.
According to her, while doctors often explain the immediate side effects of epidural injections, they rarely provide insight into the potential long-term damage it could cause to the body.
“Doctors tell you about the side effects but do not tell you about the long-term effects on your body. I have about three friends having the same issues I am having. I am just 42, how did I end up with spine issues? I have implants in my spine, I go paralyzed, I can’t stand for long, and sometimes I can’t even breathe properly,” she lamented.
She also issued a strong warning to expectant mothers, urging them to think carefully and weigh their options before deciding to take an epidural injection during labor.
Many of her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry have since taken to the comment section to express their concerns, sending messages of love, support, and prayers for her quick recovery.
