The Afrobeat artist had previously taken to the internet to make a public request for Nigerian blogs to specify the amount they would require in exchange for refraining from writing anything about him.
However, Daniel Regha responded critically, reminding Burna Boy that these blogs played a significant role in his rise to fame. He emphasized that while some news might be incorrect, the blogs and fans have contributed to Burna Boy's success, promoting his work and accomplishments. He encouraged the artist to acknowledge this and not act as if he is entirely self-made.
In response to Daniel's comment, Burna Boy inquired about the cost of Daniel's silence, suggesting that he should forget about him entirely. He wrote, "Oga, how much is your money? Can you develop amnesia about my matters? You are also among the people I'm talking about," highlighting that he is willing to pay to avoid further criticism.
