Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele has shared an emotional story about her early struggles in the film industry, revealing how she used to borrow clothes to appear stylish and classy in movies.
Currently enjoying a vacation in Ghana, Funke Akindele posted a video featuring herself and her close friends while reflecting on her humble beginnings in Nollywood. She expressed gratitude for how far she has come and the support she received along the way.

The producer disclosed that she used to borrow clothes from her colleague, Sikiratu Sindodo, to look classy on movie sets.
Funke Akindele also expressed her gratitude to colleague Iyabo Ojo for helping her gain feet in the movie industry and also gaining recognition.
It would recalled that Funke Akindele made headlines after she appeared as number on the Nigeria Box Office ranking for 2024 as the highest-grossing lead actress with her movie “Everyone Loves Jenifa”.
According to reports shared, Funke’s new movie was worth N1,125 billion.
