Popular Nigerian cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has caused quite a stir with his advice to his followers about not spending their entire lives focused on supporting their family.
During a sermon at the Omega Fire Ministries International, the esteemed pastor urged his congregation to take charge of their personal lives and not sacrifice their own well-being for the sake of their siblings or other relatives. His statement quickly caught attention online and sparked widespread conversation.
He stated that one shouldn’t spend all their lives carrying one’s siblings because they have a life to live.
Apostle Johnson Suleman charged them to plan their lives and ensure they cut their coats according to their sizes to avoid living life in regret.
He said in part …
“Plan your life while you carry people along. Plan your life, number your days. Don’t spend all you have on family. Don’t spend all your life carrying your brothers and your sisters. You have a life to live. It is a hard truth. Plan your life; don’t spend all your money on school fees. Look for a school that you can afford.”
