Nollywood actor Etim Effiong has shared an intimate moment with his wife, Toyosi, where he opened up about how he manages the attention of his many female admirers while maintaining strong boundaries in their relationship. The conversation took place during the couple's celebration of their 7th wedding anniversary, as they reminisced about the growth and challenges they faced throughout their journey together.
In a touching moment, the couple revisited a conversation they had years ago, reflecting on the difficulties they have navigated as a married couple. During this heartfelt exchange, Toyosi posed a rather probing question to her husband: “Do you have measures in place to safeguard yourself from the wildness and craziness?” to which Etim responded thoughtfully, opening up about his personal growth and how he has evolved in handling such situations over time.

Etim responded thoughtfully, sharing how he has matured in managing such situations over the years.
“The simple answer to the question is I have measures in place, and I have always had measures in place. I guess the toolbox is getting better measures as I grow,” he said.
The actor highlighted the importance of boundaries and self-awareness in dealing with his “saviour complex.”
He explained, “I’ve learned to have boundaries in place and how to deal with my saviour complex. I cannot be there to save everyone who needs help; I cannot be their emotional support, the love of their lives, and their saviour. As I grow older, I have been able to handle this.”
His wife could be seen basking in the joy of the sweet words from her husband, as he candidly assured her.
