It has been reported that the FG Security Committee in Abuja has banned any form of protest in the state.
According to reports, the Committee banned protests, demonstrations, and processions anywhere in Abuja because the protesters were violating COVID-19 guidelines, regulating public gatherings, as well as endangering their own lives.
justnaija recalls that a few days ago, Nigerian youths stormed the streets of their various states to demand that SARS be scrapped after numerous well-documented incidents of abuse including harassment, extortion, torture, and extra-judicial murder.
This instruction comes a few hours after some group of people identified as Pro SARS attacked peaceful protesters and destroyed people’s properties in Berger, Abuja.
