Actress Ekene Umenwa has come under fire from online trolls who have accused her of engaging in idol worship after a video surfaced showing her dedicating her baby to Mother Mary.
As a reminder, in September, Ekene announced the birth of her first child in the United States, expressing how only Jesus and Mother Mary could truly comprehend the challenges she faced during her journey.
Expressing gratitude to God, she praised mothers and prayed for expectant ones.
Now back in Nigeria after giving birth, Ekene fulfilled her promise to her mother by taking her baby to be blessed by Mother Mary before bringing them to their father’s house.
