In a recent video circulating online, Egungun of Lagos had a discussion with media personality Daddy Freeze, where he spoke about his educational background and how he managed to achieve success despite not having a strong academic foundation.

During the conversation, Egungun of Lagos emphasized that academic qualifications do not define a person’s financial success or career achievements. To support his argument, he provided examples from his own life, highlighting how several of his employees hold university degrees yet work under him in non-corporate roles.

He disclosed that his chef, personal assistants, and videographer are all university graduates, yet they are employed in roles that do not necessarily align with their academic qualifications.

In his words:

“School does not guarantee the success of a man. I have a chef, Tayo, who is educated. He studied Biology in school. He has two degrees. He is a nutritionist and a dietitian. He graduated with a second-class upper. I also have five staff members. All my PAs also have degrees. My videographer too is a graduate.”
