The document, which includes a transcript of a police interview, names Diddy in connection with the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, who was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. The transcript has drawn significant attention as it sheds light on new details about the case.
Reports indicate that Diddy allegedly paid the assailants responsible for the murders of both Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight, the co-founder of Death Row Records, a prominent label in the rap industry during the 1990s.
In the transcript, which was part of an interview with Duane “Keefe D” Davis, a suspect currently awaiting trial for Tupac's murder, Diddy’s name was mentioned 47 times. This has raised further questions about his alleged involvement in the case, which has remained unsolved for nearly three decades.
Keefe D, a known affiliate of the Southside Crips gang, referred to Diddy as the “boss” during the interview. He described Diddy’s association with three members of the gang who allegedly played significant roles in the orchestrated murder of Tupac Shakur. According to Keefe D, Diddy’s animosity toward Suge Knight was a key motivator, and he was reportedly willing to go to great lengths to exact revenge on the Death Row Records executive.
Furthermore, Keefe D claimed that Diddy’s actions were driven by an intense hatred for Suge Knight, whom he allegedly saw as a threat. Keefe D’s revelations add a new dimension to the infamous East Coast vs. West Coast rivalry that dominated the hip-hop scene during the 1990s.
