Notable Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, shares his candid advice with a distressed woman who was kicked out by her husband for involving her brothers in their marital dispute.
In an anonymous post, the woman sought advice online after a heated argument with her husband led to her insulting his mother, resulting in a slap and facial swelling, followed by her brothers confronting her husband and a subsequent eviction from their home.
She expressed her dilemma, stating, “I’m about to lose my marriage. On Sunday, my husband and I argued, and in the heat of the moment, I insulted his mom. He slapped me, causing my face to swell. I returned home to find my brothers had confronted him, resulting in my eviction. I love my husband, please advise.”
Responding to her plea for guidance, Deyemi Okanlawon contended that justice was served, urging the woman to accept the consequences of her actions.
“Verbal abuse led to physical altercation, which led to a slap, then retaliation from your brothers. Consequently, you were expelled from your home. Justice has been served. There’s no need for further advice; simply relocate to your father or brother's house. All parties have played their parts!” he advised.
