Notable Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, has taken to the public domain to express his displeasure with celebrated musician Burna Boy, accusing him of oppressing his fellow artist, Speed Darlington, in what he describes as an unnecessary show of power and influence.
It would be recalled that Speed Darlington, known for his eccentric personality and bold statements, has been at the center of controversy recently after being arrested for the second time following his return to Nigeria from abroad. According to Deji Adeyanju, the rapper has been detained since November 25, with little to no clarification regarding the allegations against him.
He has been held in detention since 25th November, following his arrest.
Deji Adeyanju, Speed Darlington’s lawyer, recently appeared on the Honest Bunch podcast where he spoke about the matter.
He queried why Burna Boy, who describes himself as Africa’s Giant, is bothering himself with a small mosquito like Speed Darlington.
He further added that the singer had mobilized 50 Mopols to arrest the controversial rapper.
