A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, has remanded two siblings, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche, alongside Pastor Abraham Daniel, at the Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State, following allegations of defamation. The court order for their remand was granted after the Nigerian Police Force secured a remand order from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja. This legal development took place after a police investigation into the matter.

Alexander and Eneche Enenche are the brothers of Pastor Paul Eneche, the senior pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Church, a prominent religious institution. The court decision to remand the siblings and Pastor Abraham Daniel at the Keffi Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) follows their earlier detention after the police invited them for questioning in connection with the case of defamation.

The incident unfolded after Mr. Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche (brothers of Pastor Paul Eneche), and Abraham Daniel (a former Pastor at Dunamis Church) were brought into police custody on Monday evening. The trio had initially responded to the Nigerian Police Force's invitation, leading to their temporary detention prior to the remand order being issued.

The case escalated when Alex Enenche and Daniel were initially arrested and detained on January 7, 2025, based on allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation targeting Pastor Paul Eneche. However, a development occurred the following day when an agreement was reached, resulting in their release after the parties involved agreed to attempt resolving the matter amicably. Despite this, the latest charges led to the remand of all three individuals in prison as part of the ongoing legal process to address the defamation accusations.

The legal proceedings surrounding this case continue to unfold, with the remand order being the latest step in what has become a significant matter involving prominent figures within the church and the legal system. The resolution of these accusations remains uncertain as both parties work through legal avenues and discussions aimed at finding a settlement.
