Controversial former BBNaija housemate, Deeone, has called on Nigerians to rally behind popular media personality Nedu following his unexpected resignation from the Honest Bunch Podcast. This comes amidst the ongoing feud between Nedu and well-known social media critic, Verydarkman (VDM).
The controversy initially erupted after Deeone was featured as a guest on Nedu’s podcast. During the discussion, Deeone made bold and controversial allegations about Verydarkman’s sexuality, claiming that he was gay.
These claims triggered an intense reaction from VDM, who did not hesitate to respond. He publicly accused Nedu of orchestrating the entire discussion and using the podcast as a platform to tarnish his reputation. VDM
Following the backlash, Nedu announced his exit from the Honest Bunch Podcast, stating that he was frequently made the scapegoat for discussions on the show.
In response to Nedu’s resignation, Deeone publicly defended him, refuting VDM’s accusations. He insisted that Nedu had no influence over his statements and pleaded with Nigerians to stand up for the OAP, emphasizing that his remarks on the podcast were entirely his own.

“Nedu is going through a lot, he did not tell me to post anything. That man is innocent, I swear with everything in this life. This is not content; this is real! VDM lied and manipulated everything. Don’t let this guy die.
“Inspector General of Police, please call us all to your office; I said everything I said, nobody told me to say. All of you should come out and support Nedu. This is not a matter of whether you like me or not. VDM lied against Nedu; he’s trying to frustrate him to kill himself,” he stated passionately.
