Nigerian music superstar Davido seems to have reconciled with Amaju Pinnick, the former President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), after their widely publicized fallout over an alleged contract breach.
A video shared on Davido’s Instagram story captured the duo enjoying a relaxing and lively outing at the beach. They were joined by Kayode Yajuar and another unidentified individual. The group appeared to be having a great time together, riding quad bikes and engaging in other activities that suggested an end to their previous differences.
This reconciliation marks a significant moment following the heated dispute that occurred about two years ago. The disagreement stemmed from an incident in 2023 when Amaju Pinnick publicly criticized Davido for allegedly failing to honour a contractual agreement despite being paid a large sum of money. Pinnick also revealed that Davido and his crew were provided with a private jet as part of the agreement, which he claimed Davido did not fulfil.
Further fueling the controversy at the time, Pinnick made headlines by openly comparing Davido to his industry rival, Burna Boy, declaring that Burna Boy was far superior in terms of professionalism and reliability.
