Superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke, has expressed his concern in response to yet another determined fan of his who has announced their intention to trek all the way from Taraba State to Lagos to meet him. This unfolding situation occurs against the backdrop of another devoted fan of the singer who has been cycling from Benue for several days, embarking on a journey to reach Lagos just to greet the music icon.
The fervor of this new fan's determination was ignited after Davido had generously offered to compensate the ardent supporter from Benue for his incredible effort. This newly emerging fan, introducing himself as Dami, took to social media to declare his ambitious undertaking of a journey spanning approximately 828 kilometers from Taraba to Lagos, all with the sole purpose of meeting and seeing Davido in person. His message read, "My name is Dami, I just started my journey from Taraba to Lagos, which is about 828km, to see @davido. Wish me luck and safe journey guys🙏🏼."
Accompanying the message was a snapshot of Dami, poised and determined for the arduous journey ahead. However, in response to this announcement, Davido took a moment to address the potential health risks that such a long and strenuous journey could pose.
Davido, however, reminded him of the die-hard fan of the health risk of taking on such a walk in a reply.
“With leg 😭 nah ur body go tell u,” he responded.
