Renowned Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has directed a playful jab at Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter. This lighthearted exchange transpired in response to the recent buzz about individuals receiving payments on the social media platform. Elon Musk had previously announced plans to share Twitter's ad revenue with content creators.

Davido took to his official Twitter account to humorously inquire about his own share of the earnings, writing, 'Where dem Dey put the money? @elonmusk.' His tweet playfully addressed Musk while subtly highlighting the ongoing discussion about monetary compensations for creators on Twitter.

Interestingly, Davido's tweet emerged shortly after a Nigerian man expressed frustration, alleging that the singer is financially strained and only assists women financially. In a social media video, a man named Muller lamented his investment in promoting Davido's uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, during a campaign. He claimed to have received nothing in return and accused Davido of relying on his father's wealth, suggesting that items like cars and jewelry seen with him belong to internet fraudsters.

While Davido's tweet to Elon Musk was light-hearted banter, the incident underscores the diverse conversations and opinions that circulate on social media, ranging from financial matters to the perception of wealth and contributions within Nigerian pop culture."
