Celebrated Nigerian singer, Davido, has been left heartbroken after losing his multimillion-naira diamond ring while in Jamaica.
The news of the incident was revealed by a popular jeweller, Icebycw, on his Instagram page, where he shared a chat he recently had with the music star.
In the chat, Davido disclosed that the unfortunate incident occurred while he was on a boat in Jamaica. The precious ring accidentally fell into the water, leaving the singer deeply distressed.
He expressed how much he cherished the ring, describing it as his favourite. Davido also reached out to the jeweller to request the creation of another identical piece, indicating his willingness to pay for it.
“I’m so sad. E fall inside water for boat for Jamaica. My fav ring too. I go pay I wan do another one,” Davido lamented in the shared chat.
It is worth noting that the luxurious ring, which holds a significant sentimental value for the singer, was originally gifted to him last year in February. Reports reveal that the custom-designed ring cost millions of naira, making it a highly treasured possession.
Fans and admirers have since taken to social media to express their sympathy and offer words of encouragement to the beloved singer over the unfortunate loss.
