The newlywed celebrity singer, Davido Adeleke faces unexpected criticism for not inviting Flavour N’abania to his wedding despite the singer’s significant cultural heritage.
It would be recalled that the DMW Records boss tied the knot traditionally with his darling bride, Chioma Rowland some days ago in Lagos with an elaborate party.
Celebrities from all hierarchies of the entertainment industry showed up at the event to celebrate with Davido and his wife except a few, including Flavour.
A die-hard fan of Flavour expressed disappointment with the 30BG boss for allegedly not inviting the eastern singer despite his wife from the same region.
In a post via X, the fan wrote, “Before you crucify me, show me evidence and I’ll apologize and keep quiet. I’m compelled to speak out because I’m still searching for answers.
“Why was Flavour N’abania, the ljele of Africa, seemingly left out of Davido’s grand wedding celebration? I’ve scoured the internet for any sign of him at the event, but to no avail.
“As a die-hard fan of Flavour’s music, I’m disappointed and curious. Davido, did you extend an invitation to Flavour, or was he overlooked? Did Chioma, an Igbo daughter, not remind you of Flavour’s significance? Or did he decline the invitation?Flavour’s absence was felt, and I had hoped to see him perform “Nwunye Odogwu” at the wedding. #CHIVIDO24.”
